SENSORY ANALYSIS
The sight is intense red with violet tints. Its aroma is very fruity, dominate the red fruits, especially plum jam; Also strawberry and raspberry. Vanilla, chocolate and toasted notes appear.
It is medium-bodied, with notes of aging in French and American oak, fruity with great varietal typicity and good persistence.

Consumption Recommendation

Conservation: at 16ºC, service temperature 16ºC to 18ºC
Pairing: Ideal to accompany roasted red meats and game prey.
Decantation: 30 minutes.

TERROIR:
First wine region of Mendoza and upper area of the Mendoza River, Coquimbito, Maipú. Property of the Cavagnaro family since 1889. Driven in high trellis with bilateral pitted cords, under drip irrigation. Stony clay loam soil with very good infiltration and drainage. Harvest and yield: Manual, March 26, 2016, in plastic boxes of 17 Kg. Each; 60 qq / ha.

OENOLOGICAL PRACTICE

Pre-fermentative cold maceration for 3 days at 10 ° C, then alcoholic fermentation and traditional maceration at 25ºC, malolactic fermentation completed 100% in elaboration and aging tanks, where lasted 8 months, in contact with oak staves.

Bottle aging 6 months minimum.
